SAFRA renovates the Bordeaux Métropole tramway

In order to have a fleet of homogeneous trains, Bordeaux Métropole has just entrusted Safra with the installation of 74 tramway trains.
The first 38 trains of the Alstom and Citadis brand have been delivered and put into service in 2003, the next 36 from 2007 to 2009, and the last 26 from 2014 to 2016.
The evolution of the interior layout between these different phases has allowed the most recent trainsets to offer users a better comfort of reception, with 10% additional surface per traveler, as well as a greater fluidity of movements to inside, but also between the train and the station platform.
Two prototype trains 302 and 402 were made in April by the Safra Rénovation teams. The next 72 trains will be processed by the end of 2020.
